Shirley Engelmeier, CEO and Founder of InclusionINC, has been an Inclusion and Diversity Strategist and Consultant for more than 19 years. Prior to that, Shirley held senior management positions in global consumer product organizations Brown & Williamson and Frito-Lay. She has pioneered Inclusion and Diversity initiatives that currently have a major impact on improving business results through employee engagement, innovation, productivity and retention. During the past two decades, she introduced significant corporate learning tools such as customized web-based assessments, strategic and customized metrics beyond representation and solutions for Learning Over Time®. A highly regarded business strategist, Shirley has consulted with Fortune 1000 companies as well as emerging enterprises on Inclusion and Diversity Initiatives across a broad range of industries, including SUPERVALU, ESPN, Denny’s/Advantica, 3M, R.R. Donnelley, TRW, Prudential, U.S. Bank, COX Communication and BP Pipelines. Originally trained as an educator, Shirley earned her B.S. degree from the University of Minnesota and resides with her family in Minneapolis.
